Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos started off their week in the most special of ways, officially going from husband and wife to co-hosts of Live! With Kelly and Mark.
The Riverdale actor, who has been married to his former All My Children co-star since 1996, has joined the ranks of Ryan Seacrest – who just left the show after six seasons – Michael Strahan, and Regis Philbin as host of Live!
While the new era of the long-running morning show debuted, among the fans in the live audience was none other than the hosts' daughter, Lola Consuelos, supporting her parents on their big day.

The first episode of Live! With Kelly and Mark served fans many full circle moments for the couple of 27 years.
Though they have co-hosted Live! several times before, the couple's permanent roles as co-stars is a sweet nod to how they met, on the set of All My Children, starring as on-screen love interests Haley and Mateo in the 1990s.

Should there have been any doubts about Mark's permanence as host of the show, Kelly quickly squashed them all when, after the couple walked out to the stage to a standing ovation, she announced: "Joining me today, and permanently, until one of us dies, is Mark Consuelos!"
The rebranding of Live! has already been praised by fans on social media, who wrote: "Great first show. Love the chemistry, I remember #HayleyandMateo," and: "My favorite celebrity couple! Congratulations Mark!" as well as: "Love Mark on the show!!!"

It was also a full circle moment for them as parents, and for Lola, as among the guests for the first episode was "psychic intuitive medium" Char Margolis.
During the episode, the psychic got to meet Lola, 21, two decades after in November of 2000, when Kelly was not yet co-host of Live! but serving as occasional guest co-host, she accurately predicted on live television that she was pregnant with Lola, before the now mom-of-three had told anyone.
By then Kelly and Mark had already welcomed three years earlier their eldest son, Michael, who like his dad is an actor. Lola is an aspiring musician – last year she released her debut single, "Paranoia Silverlining" – and their little brother, Joaquin, 20, is a wrestler for Michigan University.
