Hollywood siblings Kate and Oliver Hudson opened up in the latest episode of their podcast Sibling Revelry about being the parents of teenagers, and the latter used it as a means to voice his thoughts specifically on his son Wilder, 15.
"[Wilder] is in this moment right now of teenage, where our relationship has definitely shifted," he explained, detailing his anxiety over his son pulling away as he gets older.
"He'll say stuff like 'You don't even know me anymore,' and he's poking me, he knows how to get my goat, even though I know he's joking."
The 46-year-old also joked that his son's love language was fighting, saying that he'd kick and scratch, leading his dad to quip: "Will you just hug me, just love me!"

Oliver attributed some of that to the big change in his son's life, that being Wilder's first girlfriend, but took the opportunity to gush over their relationship.
"It is really amazing to watch him with someone who he really, really likes a lot. His first girlfriend, it's very real," the Nashville star said.
"When we're on vacation, he's about buying stuff for her, finding things for her, giving her things, always wanting to be with her 24/7, she's amazing. It's cool to watch your child find love for somebody else."
Kate, who just turned 44, also expanded upon her own relationship with her son, 18-year-old Ryder, who is away at college, and his girlfriend.

"I love seeing Ryder have those moments with his girlfriend where I can see who he is as a boyfriend, and I'm so proud."
Oliver continued: "When she's over at our house and I'm in the room, it's Wilder as I know him. He's not performing for me, he's just with her and not wanting to look bad," calling him a "great boyfriend."
Oliver and wife Erinn Bartlett are parents to Wilder, Bodhi, 13, and Rio, nine. Kate shares Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, 11-year-old Bingham with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and four-year-old Rani Rose with current fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
