Rachel Weisz recently admitted her husband Daniel Craig lied to their four-year-old daughter, whose name has not yet been publicly revealed.

During an interview with The Late, Late Show with Stephen Colbert the actress revealed that her daughter started to watch Star Wars with her dad and she got so obsessed that Rachel convinced her husband to lie to her.

“I told him I think it’s got too intense, so he decided to tell her that Star Wars is broken,” she admitted.

And even when a few months later, their daughter questioned if the movie was still broken they persisted with the lie.

“We told her, yes, it’s still broken…”

My stepdaughter took my littlest one to school, thankfully, but still," she said. "Chaos".

The mother-of-two is currently promoting Dead Ringers, where she plays twins Beverly and Elliot Mantle in the dark psychological thriller.

The Mummy star may be a household name, but when it comes to the notion of celebrity, she would rather be regarded the same as everyone else.

"Celebrity – it really doesn’t mean anything to me. And it's no work at all to keep not showing up at events. It's no work at all, to keep a private life. Life can be demanding, life in a family can be complicated but I don’t even know what 'celebrity' means. I don't think of myself like that," she said.

On balancing her busy work life with being a parent, she added: "When you have kids you do have to concentrate more on not bringing it home. And it is a skill to learn, that discipline. I think personally, it’s a skill that’s made me better at my job and better at my life – keeping the two very separate."
