Christina Aguilera shares new snap of rarely-seen lookalike daughter

The mom-of-two shared photos from a family day out

Christina Aguilera's daughter Summer is her mom's double in an adorable new snap shared to Instagram. 

Marking a family trip out to celebrate the new Super Mario Bros Movie, the Genie in a Bottle singer shared a series of snaps from the Super Mario-themed event, including one showing Christina's fiancé, Matt Rutler, posing in a life-size Mario kart.

The 42-year-old captioned the post: "Thank you @universalpictures @arnoldalanklein and @edgar_hay_events for planning such a fun event for all of us."

Summer is clearly creative like her mom, as the little girl was captured showing off her artistic side as she painted a picture of Mario. 

Fans rushed to the comments to remark on the fun family day out, with one person writing: "Looks like too much fun," while another added: "Summers hair is so cute!!"

Christina shares her eight-year-old daughter with her fiancé, Matt Rutler. The couple have been going strong for 13 years and have been engaged since Valentine's Day 2014.

The pop star is also a doting mom to her son, Max, 15, who she co-parents with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman. The couple were married from 2005 to 2011. 

Last year, she opened up about motherhood and her hopes that her children will grow up to be "free".

Christina told People: "I've always, always wanted my kids to just be their happiest best selves, whatever that means to them, I will always support it." 

She added: "Every child is different — I've definitely learned that, everything from education-wise to their personalities and what their interests are."

The mom-of-two continued: "I really think it's important to hone in on helping them figure out what that is.

"Giving them all the resources and support they need in order to feel OK and comfortable within themselves and to explore who they are and what they're about."
