Christina Hall is making memories with her children during their summer break from school – but her latest photo of her two young sons sparked concerns for their safety among some of her followers.
The Flip or Flop star, 40, has three children, daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, seven, whom she shares with her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and her youngest son, Hudson, three, whom she welcomed with her second husband, Ant Anstead.
On Tuesday, Christina posted a sweet photo of her boys enjoying the sunshine while riding outside on their scooters. "Soaking up the last few weeks of summer," she captioned the happy snap.
While many of her followers were blown away by how much Brayden and Hudson have grown, there were some who queried why they weren't wearing helmets during their ride.
"If they sleep in bunk beds please make them wear helmets," commented one follower. A second said: "Helmets!" A third added: "Helmets please.... looks like their having fun," and many others also simply commented: "Helmets".
Many of Christina's fans jumped to her defense, with one responding: "Not sure why people need to comment on anything other than a cute photo of the boys having fun… They are not on motorized scooters...check your Karen card before you judge someone else." Another said: "What is it with the haters on her IG??? She is happy and spending time with her kids and a positive person."
Despite concerns, Christina's children appeared to be having a great time with their mom, who later shared a photo of Brayden splashing about at Wild Rivers water park in Orange County, near the family's $12 million home in Newport Beach.
Chrisina's children split their time between her home with her husband, Josh Hall, and their respective dads. They also have an incredible vacation home in Tennessee. Josh recently opened up about taking on the role of stepfather to Taylor, Brayden, and Hudson after his and Christina's whirlwind romance.
"There's a lot of adjustments to being a stepdad," he told Entertainment Tonight, adding: "It's adjusting my time. Instead of having to just take care of [Christina], I've got three little ones that I have to give attention to as much as you do.
"But I think it's very rewarding because I now know that when those kids become contributing adults to society one day, I'll have had an impact on how they were brought up and what they become."
Despite finding being a stepdad "rewarding", Josh and Christina have no plans to welcome a child of their own. "Nope, that door is closed!" Christina told Us Weekly when asked if she and Josh plan on having children.
"We talked about that when we met. We're just too busy, and I don't feel like that's fair. When we don't have the kids, we have time to ourselves, and that's something that makes our relationship strong."
The Christina On The Coast star and her husband, who is also in real estate, were first romantically linked in the summer of 2021. They got engaged in September of that year, and tied the knot in April of 2022, with a second wedding taking place in September.
