The 42-year-old posted the trailer for the second season of her reality series, 'Paris In Love', on Instagram on Monday and it featured the moment she and her husband, Carter Reum, first laid eyes on their son, whom they welcomed via surrogate.

In the trailer, which you can watch below, Paris and Carter can be seen eagerly waiting in a hospital room before they are introduced to their son for the first time. The new mom is also overcome with affection for her baby boy as she enjoys her first skin-to-skin contact with him in a hospital bed.

Paris and Carter announced Phoenix's arrival on social media at the beginning of the year, sharing a photo of their newborn's tiny hand wrapped in Paris' alongside the caption: "You are already loved beyond words."

In a statement shared with People, Paris added: "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

The trailer comes after the heiress hit back at cruel comments made about the size of her son's head after she shared an adorable photo of the pair during his first trip to New York City last week.

Paris first responded to a TikTok video posted on Friday in which a user defended the family following the negative comments about Phoenix. "There are some sick people in this world," she wrote. "My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain."

She then took to her Instagram Stories on Monday evening to share a lengthier post in which she condemned the people who were unkind about her eight-month-old son's appearance.

"Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter is unacceptable," she began. "This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I've worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return."

Paris continued: "If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother, and if I do post him there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic.

"I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters."

She concluded: "It's hard to fathom that there are people in this world who would target such innocence. I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy."
