Aljaz Skorjanec is loving being a stay-at-home dad with his baby girl, Lyra, and the former Strictly professional melted hearts on Tuesday with the sweetest photo of his newborn.
In the beautiful snap, the doting father-of-one held his baby daughter close to his chest as she sweetly snoozed away. Lyra's outfit was obscured as the daddy-and-daughter duo cuddled underneath a cute pink blanket in order to keep the October chill at bay. A smiling Aljaz, meanwhile, was keeping warm in a black jumper as he shared the adorable moment.
In the most touching caption, he quipped: "Not gonna move unless absolutely necessary." Aww!
While the pair were all cuddled up at home, Aljaz and Lyra have enjoyed many adventures together, and last week the 33-year-old stunned his fans as he bottle-fed his young girl while enjoying time in a local pub.
Just like her famous father, who wore a neutral jumper, the tot looked adorable wrapped in a cream blanket and a warm hat with a daisy dummy holder attached to her clothing.
Aljaz was gazing down at his daughter with a loving expression, while his own lunch of soup and crunchy bread sat waiting for him on the table. "Half pint of Milk.. Draught please," he captioned the post, which quickly racked up comments from his followers.
"Lyra has the best daddy daycare," wrote one, and a second penned: "You two melt my heart." A third commented: "Awwww you're such an amazing daddy," and a fourth remarked: "Beautiful picture of a very proud daddy with his gorgeous baby daughter."
Speaking to HELLO! about looking after Lyra, he explained: "I can't wait to do daddy daycare – it's my favourite job ever. I have waited to be a dad for so long and I feel very lucky to be able to spend so much time with my daughter."
Joking about welcoming more children, he added: "I'm really looking forward to the future and already thinking about our second child. Janette is still recovering, but I'm planning to keep the bottles, just in case."
