You’ve probably already seen the TV ads for D&G’s new fragrance collection, starring original supermodels, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer with Eva Herzigova.Well, now the tantalising trio have joined together again, to celebrate the launch in person with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana themselves in Milan.

The women are the faces of D&G’s first fragrance ‘anthology’, five "eternal personalities” within one collection developed to reflect that “we all have many different facets to our personalities”, as the two designers point out.

The ad campaign was directed by Mario Testino and features the three models dropping their robes to signify that the cast of D&G characters are personalities in their own right.

Describing her as one of fashion’s most serene and luminous beauties, the designers chose Claudia to portray 18 La Lune, the dreamer, with hypnotising white florals of lily and tuberose against a base of the softest leather, sandalwood, musk and orris.

Eva, the face and physique of her generation, pairs with newcomer Fernando Fernandes, Brazilian boxer turned fashion model, to evoke the daring of 10 La Roue de la Fortune – the players, with a lavish tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine heart and daring benzoin and patchouli base.

Naomi is 3 L’Imperatrice, the star, with watermelon and kiwi offset by the more dramatic and exhilarating pink cyclamen, designed to reflect a flamboyant personality with a headily overwhelming allure. Then there’s catwalk model Noah Mills, who represents the intense sensuality of 6 L’Amoureux, the charmer, with bergamot, juniper and pink pepper rooted in a cardamom, birch leaf and orris heart.

Texan-born model Tyson Ballou embodies the irresistible magnetism of 1 Le Bateleur, the seducer, with aromatic top notes and an aquatic heart on a cedarwood and vetyver base. Contained within sleek, clean flacons, the fragrances are designed to “transcend the conventions of gender” - which we take to mean are unisex!

Each perfume is differentiated by the colour of its juice: pale yellow for 18 La Lune; soft violet for 10 La Roue de la Fortune; blush pink for 3 L’Imperatrice; limpid green for 6 L’Amoureux; and sky blue for 1 Le Bateleur. All are priced at £35 for 100ml eau de toilette and are available from department stores and perfume retailers as well as D&G boutiques.
