Drew Barrymore has taken her beauty obsession to the next level and headed to Seoul, Korea in a bid to discover their best make-up and skincare brands.
However, the 41-year-old's trip wasn't simply to try new products – she is actually doing research for her Flower Beauty range, no doubt taking inspiration from the success of Korean skincare which has taken the beauty world by storm.
Drew Barrymore has headed to Seoul to do research for her Flower Beauty line
During her exciting travels the actress kept her 5.3 million Instagram followers updated on her adventures, which have seen her exploring the city's fish markets as well as trying out new trends.
It appears she was keen to get started almost immediately on arrival, with Drew revealing that less than an hour after landing she had already trialled a new mask.
The actress has shared snaps from her travels on Instagram
"Just landed in Seoul Korea! What do you do on a one hour drive from the airport?" she captioned a quirky photo of herself and her team donning the sheet masks. "Run to a store in the airport called Skin Food and grab caviar masks #research #theteam @flowerbeauty and yes we look cray cray!"

While the actress explored the city's various shops and beauty destinations, there was one particular product which caught her attention – a wine pigmented lipstick. Drew, who has her own range of wine, shared her excitement with fans by posting a snap of herself examining the unusual lipsticks.
"I once again found a hybrid of wine and beauty," she explained. "These are lipsticks made from wine pigments. #howcool @flowerbeauty @barrymorewines #brandingtrip2016."
Drew also took time to explore the city including its fish markets
There's no doubt that The Wedding Singer star has firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the beauty industry. Not only does she continue to expand her Flower Beauty cosmetics line, but she herself is hailed as a beauty icon by her legions of fans, and often shares her tips and tricks for recreating her look.
Earlier this year, Drew surprised fans when she revealed that to achieve her trademark smoky eye make-up, she often breaks the golden rule of skincare – taking make-up off before going to bed.
"After I do my evening skincare routine, I line my outer lower lashes with soft-black pencil – usually Flower That's So Kohl – before I go to bed" she told Allure magazine."It sounds a little crazy, but I wake up with the perfect smudgy eye make-up. I can roll out of bed, do absolutely nothing and get compliments on my make-up."
