Kendall Jenner has always been refreshingly honest about her skincare woes, revealing that she used to suffer from acne. However her skin has been transformed since she met top dermatologist Dr. Kidd, who prescribed a bespoke skincare routine and laser therapy treatments.
Now Kendall has kindly shared some advice from her skincare guru on her official website to help fans who may also be struggling with their skin.
In a video posted on Kendall's official website, Dr. Kidd explained that when it comes to treating acne, it's important to be gentle with your skin.
"I never want you washing your face with anything abrasive," she says in the video. "Not a scrub, not a rotating brush, not a washcloth. You want to treat it very delicately and just wash really well with your hands."
The dermatologist advises against washcloths, which can be too abrasive and potentially spread bacteria, and also tells clients to avoid using sonic cleansing brushes.

"Using anything abrasive on acne can increase inflammation of the zit, actually making it worse," she advises.
Kendall has previously said that her beauty routine is very "simple", and she is conscious about keeping her skin as healthy as possible.
"I'm very simple and lazy with my beauty routine. I wouldn't say I'm that daring," she told Byrdie. "But I've always been super OCD about washing my face – and that's even before I started modelling."

Kendall added: "But it's definitely enhanced now because I wear so much make-up all the time. I wash my face at least two or three times a day."
The 21-year-old has also picked up some skincare tips from her sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.
"My sisters, since they're a little bit older than Kylie and I, they've always wanted to help prevent anything that they've gone through when they were our age," Kendall explained. "So they're like, 'Never touch your face, never pick your face, always wash your face, and wear eye cream'."
