Emma Willis is preparing for her hosting duties at the 2017 BRIT Awards with some serious pampering. The Voice presenter, who is co-hosting the awards show with Dermot O'Leary, gave fans a glimpse at her beauty regime in an amusing Instagram photo posted on Tuesday night. Emma's beauty preparations started with skincare, with the 40-year-old using a face mask to deep cleanse her skin.

"Pre Brits face mask," she captioned the post, which attracted a number of comments from fans joking how "scary" she looked. However others took the opportunity to compliment the star, with many wishing her luck for her presenting duties on Wednesday night. "You don't need any help, lovely lady!" one commented, while another added: "Stunning. Good luck tomorrow you'll be amazing as always!"

Emma continued her pre-show beauty preparations on Wednesday morning, hours before she took to the stage at London's O2 Arena. The mum-of-three posted a photo from behind-the-scenes at the event as a hairdresser got to work on blow drying her hair. "aaaaand we're off!" she wrote.

Wednesday marks Emma's first time hosting the BRIT Awards after previously presenting the nominations and red carpet shows for ITV. Emma and Dermot were announced as the new presenters of the awards show in January, after Michael Bublé pulled out to care for his three-year-old son Noah, who is recovering from cancer. The presenting duo said while they were thrilled to be hosting the iconic ceremony, they were sad it was under such heartbreaking circumstances.

The TV presenter shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the BRIT Awards

"Every part of me sends so much love and all the well wishes in the world to Michael and his family at such a difficult time," Emma said. "I'm a huge fan of his and I would have relished watching him present the BRITs. I know everyone involved wants to make the best show possible and I hope we do him proud. I had an awesome time presenting the nominations show this year and I am delighted to be asked back for the main event."
