Kim Kardashian has made her new perfumes “timeless” rather than just another set of celebrity scents. The 37-year-old reality star is to launch three scents as part of her KKW Beauty line on Wednesday; Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus, and Crystal Gardenia Oud, all of which come in 30ml and 75ml sizes.
The limited edition run means they will only available for a short amount of time, but Kim made sure that each product will stand the test of time for those who purchase them. "I think that with the social media aspect of it, (and) being able to really reach so many people, I think it's going to work," she told WWD, referring to her 161 million followers across Instagram and Twitter. "Obviously I'm in the celebrity category, but I just wanted a bottle that was so simple that can look like it's something sitting on your counter and be a beautiful object. I tried to make it really timeless so that it can't just all be about a celebrity fragrance."

While the three fragrances may be new, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star did pay homage to her 2009 namesake perfume with the fresh offerings, notably the use of florals. Having made a name for herself in the cosmetics business thanks to her wide range of make-up, Kim now hopes she can gain the same recognition and success from her scents, which come encased in crystal-style bottles.

"Fragrance is harder (to sell), but make-up is difficult, too, because you don't really test the product. I hope we're doing a good job of describing what it will smell like, that's always a little bit tricky," she explained. "I do believe from the feedback that we got that it's going to do extremely well. We do a lot of focus group and testing without saying what the fragrance is - and people always gravitate toward it."
