Have you heard about Isle of Paradise yet?

I don't know about you but the beast from the east has really affected my spring mojo. I should be taking pictures of pink blossom, cracking open the rosé or strutting my stuff in my newly purchased slingbacks. Unfortunately, because of the bitter chill, I'm grabbing the nearest jumper and filling up my water bottle as I watch yet another episode of Queer Eye. But with all that in mind, I've found the ultimate spring fix and it involves Isle of Paradise, the new fake tan range that has taken over everyone's Instagram feed. Aesthetically pleasing, this new tanning range isn't style over substance. The man behind the range is glow-getter Jules Von Hep. He has tanned everyone from Lily James, Millie Mackintosh, Sienna Miller and countless models backstage at Fashion Week, so if anyone knows what makes a good tan – it's him.

This new range has been described as a game changer

"Working on shoots, TV and backstage, I found myself customising spray tans by layering colour-correcting powders and foundations onto the skin. I literally began to dream about blending green, peach and violet colours into self-tanning formulations to create super bright, even skin tones alongside real looking tans and that's where the product began," he said.

The tan range has garnered headlines due to hiring a plus size model to show off the products – but that's what makes this collection so unique. It's about real bodies and that real looking glow. Jules said: "I realised that every single person who stood naked in my tanning booth, apologising for their wobbly/flat/small/wrinkly bits was looking for the same thing: the feel-good factor."

Self tanning drops for face and body, £19.95

That's what I looked for as I stared at my grey-tinged face in the mirror this morning – a bit of feel good. I opted for the tanning drops, which I added to my moisturiser, and within an hour I looked like a sun-kissed goddess.

As well as the drops, which is priced at £19.95, you can choose from self-tanning water, mousse, and a low-key gradual tanning butter which is perfect for the laziest of tanners. If you're a regular bronzer you'll be pleased to know that there's a priming Prep It spray, an instant Disco Tan and a fake tan remover called Over It. Whatever your tanning needs, it's all there for less than £20. Stock on on isleofparadise.co.uk or in Boots nationwide.
