Skincare junkies, rejoice. Olay have finally launched their USA best-selling moisturiser, Olay Whip, on home soil. Taking five years to make, the ultra-luxe anti-ageing moisturiser is said to not only hydrate the skin but actively reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The best sounding bit? It comes with a dreamy 'whipped cream' texture that apparently makes it feel 'light as air' when applying.

Launched in the States in early 2018, the moisturiser became the best-selling product in the whole country, according to a Nielsen report.

Interestingly, Olay spent a seriously long time formulating the product and running a series of tests. In fact, the company got 15,000 consumers from around the world to try different versions of the formula over a five year period, asking them to feed back, until they were happy with the results.
Explaining how the product works, Olay’s principal scientist, Frauke Neuser, said: "This new technology effectively re-writes the rules on how to formulate a facial moisturiser. Previously, there were two main ways when it came to adapting skin creams – adding either more oils or more water to change the feel and finish of the cream. Olay Whips’ Active Rush TechnologyTM is a new third way, creating a unique 3D structure in the jar and on the skin, and enabling a smooth, matte, light as air finish."

Admittedly, this product is more expensive than you might think from Olay - it retails at £34.99 - but given it's researched background and the incredible reception it's had, we reckon it's totally worth the investment.
Will you give it a go? If so, report back.
