Victoria Beckham loves to share details of her favourite beauty products on her Instagram page, showing her followers how to apply the cosmetics in short clips. Top of the range cleansers, luxury face masks and amazing night creams – the former Spice Girl has one fabulous bathroom cabinet. Now the mum-of-four has totally shocked us by trying out a face cream which contains… wait for it… her own blood. That's right, blood. It sounds weird and pretty gross, but that's what Victoria has tested out and shown to fans on her Instagram page. So what exactly is this bizarre beauty product?

The skincare range in question is by Dr. Barbara Sturm. Victoria wrote: "This week I'm going to be trying this new product which includes two different sorts of vegan vitamin tablets that you take twice a day." In another clip, viewers can see a syringe containing 'plasma' which the beauty therapist reveals will heal her skin.

Victoria also posted: "@drbarbarasturm took my blood and created healing factors made by my own cells which is highly anti-inflammatory and regenerative. I'll be testing it out this week both morning and night." Wow.

On Dr. Barbara Sturm's website, we discover that she 'is specialised in aesthetic, non-surgical treatments that rejuvenate, without altering your natural look.' The clinician is said to use 'new, innovative methods, and also with the body’s own regenerative active agents—in the form of own-blood therapies' to attain longer-lasting natural results. She has clinics in Düsseldorf and Munich.
