Erica Davies, the influencer behind The Edited blog – has a habit of making high street fashion items go wild. First of all there was THAT Constellation dress by Marks & Spencer last year. You know the one – the navy blue, star-print midi dress which boasted a striking intergalactic print. After she posted a selfie of her rocking the design, fans went starry eyed over the frock and it sold out everywhere. She also styled up the white, polka dot Topshop dress which took Instagram by storm, adding a lacy Victoriana blouse underneath - making the look entirely her own. On Thursday, the former fashion editor did it again – rocking a leopard print dress by M&S – but this time she styled it in four different ways, giving her 110,00 strong social media following tips on how to make the most of the design, should they wish to invest. From the M&S Collection line, the animal print midi dress costs £59 and is designed in a tea-dress style with casual front-button fastening.

£59, Marks & Spencer

Mother-of-two Erica does have a paid partnership with Marks & Spencer and stated this in a series of Instagram stories.

Erica added a stripe top underneath the design

Showing her followers how she made the look work for her, she first wore the dress on its own and added orange gladiator style sandals. For her second look, she teamed the design with a Breton-striped top, giving the look the ultimate clash – which really worked! Erica explained: "I've worn it with a striped T-shirt underneath. It's a really easy way of layering up as the autumn weather kicks in."

Erica added jeans and a trench coat into the mix - and looks super chic

She added "Sometimes, it’s just good to see how you can get a bit more price per wear out of something!" The blogger added a terracotta-toned trench from Debenhams and said of the pairing: "I'm thinking you could also wear with knee-high 70s boots. "She then buttoned the dress to the neckline and wore it with "cropped jeans and flats and threw on the trench coat again. I pushed the sleeves up, so you can see more leopard," she explained.

She concluded that she preferred it with her original look with the striped top, joking: "I think I like it with the stripes, because I'm predictable in my pattern way!" Well, we think she is #wardrobegoals, whichever way she wears it.
