OTHER: 15 things you might have missed from New York Fashion Week

Influencer Leonie Hanne took over LFW

It's safe to say influencers are taking over fashion week FROW by FROW but now German influencer Leonie Hanne is taking the influencer takeover one step further with the launch of her new fashion collection. Collaborating with Amazon on their latest The Drop capsule collection, Leonie designed her own 11 designs which were available for 30 hours only - but Leonie's drool-worthy range didn't even last that long, her collection completely sold in only 2 hours. From blazers to blouses and even crop tops and midi dresses, the range had something for everyone - we now just pray Amazon to give a second to cop something from the range, round #2 please Amazon! ...View the range here

Pierce Brosnan's son walked the runway

When your dad was James Bond you have quite big shoes to fill - but don't think this has stopped Pierce Brosnan's son, Paris Brosnan. Making his catwalk debut during London Fashion Week, the suited and booted 18-year-old gave 007 a run for his money. The teenager graced Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief catwalk with top model Stella Maxwell, but this isn't his first Zoolander experience. Having already modelled for the likes of Balmain, Moschino and Ralph Lauren, we're no longer interested in finding out who the future Bond might be, but we are looking forward to following this young man's career.

Idris Elba's wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba rocked the Roland Mouret runway

Sabrina Dhowre Elba broke most of our hearts when she married Idris Elba earlier this year but she equally sent our hearts soaring during the Roland Mouret show this LFW. The stunning model stormed the catwalk in a cobalt blue gown which complimented her complexion and highlighted her gorgeous natural glow - move over Idris, Sabrina is our new girl crush!

Lace tights were everywhere at Bora Aksu

As much as we may hate to admit it, tights season fast approaching - and lace tights were EVERYWHERE at Bora Aksu. Although this is LFW S/S 2020 who says that you have to wait to live out the hot new trends? The intricately detailed, lightly coloured lace tights at Bora Aksu are the perfect transitional piece to ease yourself into those extra cosy thermal tights a few months down the line - and if like us, you have been putting off tights for as long as physically possible, this may be the answer to avoiding completely frost-bitten legs.

Christina Aguilera surprised everyone with a performance at the Royal Opera House

Watching Christina Aguilera sing live is on most peoples' bucket list - who hasn't danced around the room lip-syncing to 'Genie in a bottle' at least once in their lives? So you can imagine the hype when X-tina made a surprise appearance at the Virgin Voyages & Gareth Pugh Collaboration Launch Party and belted out a selection of her hottest hits from Candyman to Lady Marmalade - Jealous, us?

The FROW at Molly Goddard got bashed by her oversized tulle dresses

Gaining FROW status at fashion week is a glamorous and high-profile luxury… right? Well, those at the Molly Goddard show during LFW may beg to differ. The show saw a gorgeous oversized tulle dress bounce down the runway and right into those sitting in the prized front seats. However, those in the front-row of Molly Goddard appeared to love the twist on conventional catwalk etiquette, with the dress gaining applause from the on-lookers. If you think about it, shopping consists mostly of touching multiple different items and exclaiming 'this is nice', so Molly might be on to something here.

THAT skirt over trousers trend made a reappearance

We can all admit 90s fashion was questionable. Yet from mom jeans to tiny glasses, most of the reincarnations of 90s trends we have fully got on board with - until, perhaps now. Remember skirts over trousers? Yes, sorry for the horrendous flashbacks. Well, according to LFW they are back with a vengeance. During the Ports show, wrap skirts - and even dresses - over long trousers were seen on the runway and as much as we love layering, we may just be too scared to relive this particular 90s trend.

Harper Beckham and Anna Wintour twinned again

MORE: Victoria Beckham divides fans after sharing new photo of daughter Harper at LFW

There's no doubt about it, Harper Beckham is THE most fashion-forward eight-year-old on the planet. Not only does her mum have one of the most coveted fashion labels out there - meaning she has also graced the FROW since before she could walk - but she has also twinned with Ex-Vogue editor and fashion extraordinaire Anna Wintour on multiple occasions - remember THAT haircut? Well, now the little fashionista has added another twinning moment with Anna to the list. During Victoria Beckham's star-studded fashion show the two fashion icons twinned in matching floral dresses - therefore, it's been confirmed, the floral trend is here to stay.

Palo Santo was burned down the Ashish catwalk

Good vibes only! That appeared to be the motto at Ashish during London Fashion Week. Any horror film fanatic has heard of burning sage to clear energy but Palo Santo? This is famously burned to rid of ALL negative energy and bring in only the good. Looking to draw in all the good vibes, the Ashish show saw the burning of a Palo Santo branch down the runway -  and although we can't confirm if it cleansed the room of bad vibes or not, with Palo Santo having been a huge fragrance trend this year we can predict the room smelt pretty nice.

Capes were… everywhere

According to LFW, the cape is well and truly back. From Osman to David Koma and Toga, it's safe to say capes were EVERYWHERE during LFW. So, whether your love following the hottest trend or you just want to live out that childhood superhero fantasy, we suggest getting your hands on this trend ASAP as we predict capes will soon be flying off the shelves.

Ellie Goulding's first post-wedding performance at Bulgari

Going back to work after a holiday is never easy and we can only imagine how much harder is it after an exotic honeymoon like Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling's. However, coming back and performing for the LFW Bulgari party at the Roundhouse might make it that first day back a tad bit easier. Fresh from her honeymoon, Ellie Goulding showcased her post-wedding glow whilst killing it a the Bulgari afterparty - it's safe to say that marriage surely does suit this pop-star.
