Kendall Jenner is all about forward-thinking experimentation, sure, but sometimes the only thing guaranteed to hit the spot is a blast from the past.
The supermodel has been super busy recently wowing us with her commitment to the Cowgirlcore trend. For Halloween this year, Kendall gave Toy Story's Jessie the most major update, but now that spooky season has been and gone, the 27-year-old has wasted no time in getting prepped for the party period.

It's not even December yet, and already Kendall has come through with a look that wouldn't have looked out of place on the top of a Christmas tree. Channelling her inner sultry angel, the supermodel looked seriously glamorous on Saturday at the 11th Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala.
Kendall opted for a mesh bodice and a flowy silver skirt
Held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the event gathered notable figures from the art, film, fashion and entertainment industries to honour "artist Helen Pashgian, an influential pioneer of Southern California’s Light and Space movement, along with trailblazing Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook".

But another major gathering took place before the gala, Kendall's OG glam squad pulled out all the stops to get the supermodel looking picture perfect. The supermodel called on her old stylist, Marni Senofonte, who she first worked with back in 2017, to curate her look. Marni, who spends much of her time dressing Beyoncé these days, seemed thrilled to be back styling Kendall for the evening alongside hairstylist Jen Atkin and makeup artist Mary Phillips, playfully writing "TheBandGotBackTogether4theNight" in the caption of her Instagram post.

But Kendall's look wasn't totally rooted in nostalgia, in fact, the supermodel wore the most striking dress by an emerging designer Burc Akyol. Marni saw Burc's piece at a prize showcase by the Fashion Trust Arabia and "immediately saw Kendall in it". The 'Cariatide 2.0 dress' features a long-sleeved mesh bodysuit with gathered panels across the bust, and a metallic silver low-rise skirt with the most exquisite liquid-like fluidity.
We can’t wait to see what else Kendall has in store for the party season…
