Irina Shayk made the ultimate statement at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday night.
The Russian mother of one proved that when you’re a supermodel, you really don’t need to pile on the makeup, or wear any at all for that matter. Channelling Alicia Keys, who famously rejects makeup in favour of the natural look, Irina was a bare faced beauty, sans mascara and just glowing skin at the glittering event held at Casa Cipriani .

Oroma posed with designer Nellie Partow at the event
Eschewing makeup (save perhaps a tinted moisturiser) she instead let her outfit do all the talking. Donning a monochromatic outfit, she wore a pleated black and white skirt teamed with a black turtle neck while posing with emerging designer Nellie Partow. The Parsons graduate has said of her designs, "My intention is for women to feel empowered. Clothing is an extension of self-expression, and should be dictated by what feels good, not by what trend presents." And no one looked more empowered than Irina in all her barefaced glory.
Her appearance at the CFDA's has come over speculation, (and according to the internet confirmation) that her romance with Bradley Cooper is back on. Fans have been itching to know their relationship status since he attended her Self-Portrait event in New York earlier this month. This week they were spotted arm in arm, caught out by the long lens of the Big Apple’s paparazzi.

The former couple first started dating in 2015, and welcomed daughter Lea de Seine in March 2017. They split back in 2019 and since then, Irina has been linked to Kanye "Ye" West, while Bradley was linked to Glee star Diana Agron as well as Huma Abedin.
Who is Nellie Partow?
According to American Vogue "Nellie Partow is among a movement of designers who are rethinking and elevating the humble concept of american sportswear." Upon graduating from Parsons and working for designers such as Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and John Varvatos for ten years, Nellie Partow launched her eponymous label, Partow, in 2011. In 2015, she became a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America. Partow has also been a competitive boxer, and in 2007, she fought in front of sold-out crowds at Madison Square Garden, winning the coveted New York Daily News Golden Gloves title. "Partow established an aesthetic rooted in minimalism, unstudied luxury, and a tension between modern femininity and masculinity," the brand explains on its website, "From strength to empowerment, those two characteristics define her life both as a competitive, champion boxer and fashion designer."
