The day that all avid watchers of The Crown have been eagerly awaiting has finally arrived – yes that's right, season five of Neflix's hit series based on the British royal family is available to binge now.
Run, don't walk – though, before you nestle down for a 10-hour viewing sesh, you ought to take a look at what actress Elizabeth Debicki rocked up in last night at the season's world premiere. "Princess Diana's spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many. It is my true privilege and honour to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one," Elizabeth said following the announcement of her addition to the cast via The Crown's Twitter account last year.
Lauded for her charm, openness, and compassion, it's no secret that the princess was also adored by many for her distinctive sense of style. And the premiere of The Crown's latest instalment felt an utterly fitting occasion for Elizabeth to have paid homage to the royal fashion icon.

Both dresses were strapless by design, featuring pleated bodices and flowing, maxi-length silhouettes, but Elizabeth opted for thorn-style bangles and an understated pair of earrings by Dior Fine Jewellery, both from its La Rose Dior collection, to complete her look, whereas Princess Diana allowed her pendant earrings to take centre stage.
And now to crack on with the series binge and lust after every single one of Elizabeth's costumes…
