Kendall Jenner has a winning formula for party dressing.

The supermodel turned tequila entrepreneur has served as creative director for FWRD since 2021, and in her new role hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the launch of Jean Paul Gaultier with the Los Angeles-based luxury retailer.

She was joined by the Jean Paul Gaultier team and the FWRD community of creatives, including Doja Cat and Megan Fox as well as leading Hollywood stylists and emerging luxury designers.

Of course, she donned Jean Paul Gaultier for the occasion, donning a figure hugging mesh dress from the French luxury brand's new 'Cyber Collection.' The industry icon wore the brand’s 'Cyber Dot' dress which is made of a multi-colored fabric which is a revived print from the JPG archives. Hailing from his autumn/winter 1995 collection, the cyberpunk, futuristic collection was based on an Amazonian silhouette. Gaultier said the collection was crafted for the woman who is, "courageous, confident, and very much in control of her life."

"I'm so excited to be part of Jean Paul Gaultier's official launch on FWRD," Kendall explained in a statement, "I have always been a huge fan of Gaultier and the Cyber Collection. As Creative Director and a big fan of 90's fashion, edgy prints, and the way the clothes have simple lines but help you stand out — it's an honour to be able to share his vision with our customers."

Guests enjoyed nibbles from Nobu, and a DJ set by Siobhan Bell from the palatial, multi-tiered grounds of architect Eric Rosen’s Barrington Residence, with views of the Richard Meier-designed Getty Museum perched in the hills above.

This isn’t the first time Kendall has gone for a vintage mesh Jean Paul Gaultier number, earlier this year Kendall wore a strapless printed mesh dress at The Fleur Room in Los Angeles to celebrate the second annual 8.18 week, in honour of her tequila brand. The stunning vintage piece was from an early collection by Jean Paul Gaultier. Back in July, the supermodel wore a psychedelic halter neck maxi dress from the label's spring/summer 2000 collection, which she styled with a straw cowboy hat.
