Not much could drag Dua Lipa away from her beloved Future Nostalgia tour, but as the age-old saying goes: "When Elton John calls, you answer. No questions asked."
Okay, so this adage probably isn't used that often, but it remains categorically true – at least certainly for Dua.
With just a week's worth of performances left, the Levitating singer is nearing the end of her global tour. However, clearly the 27-year-old fancied a bit of company, and who better to share the stage with than her close pal Elton John.

Dua paid special tribute to her "musical hero and dear friend" in a heartfelt Instagram post shared with her 87.4m followers. Reflecting on their first-ever duet at Elton's Oscars Viewing Party last year, ahead of the concert the Poison singer wrote: "I remember this day and thinking that nothing could ever top this moment… but today just might!!!!! I’m so excited to be performing with my musical hero and dear friend @eltonjohn TONIGHT at the Dodgers stadium!!!! PINCH ME BABY."

Major musical collabs aside, we were most excited about Dua's concert look which brought operatic glamour to the fore. Showing off her ensemble in all its glory on the yellow brick road (red carpets are apparently so last season), the singer looked chic in a dramatically draped one-shoulder gown, complete with statement train, which she wore alongside sleek opera gloves, a serpentine bangle and glitzy pendant earrings.

The show took place just after the news that the Cold Heart duo had won Collaboration of the Year at the American Music Awards – pretty impressive stuff.
