When it comes to making a style statement, Juliana Nalú knows how to serve.
The girlfriend of disgraced rapper Kanye West, was seen out and about in Los Angeles, in the ultimate combo of Jean Paul Gaultier and Balenciaga. (Kim Kardashian recently broke her silence on her ex-husband anti-Semitic comments and threats.)

Juliana Nalú wore a daring outfit with the It-boots of 2022
The 24-year-old Brazilian model wore a cutout mockneck mesh top from the French 'enfant terrible' of fashion, which retails at £324 along with matching cutout mesh leggings from the designer. The outfit hails from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Cyber collection which is an homage to JPG's beloved brand codes, like the perforated cutouts on the net-like top. It's made from stretchy mesh with a built-in bandeau and thumb holes while the leggings are made with a built-in thong for coverage.
Juliana teamed the unconventional outfit (which was giving us major Leeloo in The Fifth Element vibes) with the fashion set’s latest must-have shoe craze, Balenciaga wellies. The 'Excavator Boot' in black rubber was seen on the runway and featured in several looks of Balenciaga's Autumn/Winter 2022, The Lost Tape Collection.

This isn't the first time Balenciaga has cemented a standout 2022 shoe trend. Back in July Influencers and Fashion Editors alike couldn't get enough of the brand’s Cagole boots. Our editor-in-chief Jill Wanless explained at the time, "The glossy finish, vampy spike heel, tough buckle hardware - these boots mean business. Unapologetically sexy, especially when worn with a bare leg and mini skirt, they spell a return to overt power dressing and work perfectly with the barely there cutout dresses we're seeing across the catwalks. Get ready for your best Badgirl look." The Cagole knee-high boots feature the same grooved rivets as Balenciaga's iconic croissant shaped bag of the same name.
Who is Juliana Nalú?
Juliana Nalú is a 24 year-old Afro-Brazilian model and actress, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. In an interview with Latina magazine she revealed that she was raised in the Complexo do Chapadao favela, north of Rio de Janeiro. "I wanted to do big things outside of Brazil, but I had no idea how to… the dream sounded too far for me, but I knew that I could try to reach [it]," she explained.
