Palazzo pants have been having their moment over the last year or-so. And so has Margot Robbie. The Aussie actress has shown us her ensemble versatility, giving fans a plethora of looks to obsess over. This time she’s given us the perfect attire to take us from day to night this party season.
At last night's BAFTA event in London, she donned black palazzo pants with a wool tweed blazer, finished off with barely-there silver heels and sizable gold hoops. Her soft, half-up half-down hair was swept back, accentuating her flawless facial structure. Loose waves were the perfect addition, all tied together with a black bow - perfect for upcoming festivities.

Her Bottega era is in full-swing (particularly in shades of green), but so is her blazer-with-base-layer era. The 32-year-old has donned this particular style not once, but thrice during the build up to the release of Babylon this December.
The blazer
Blazers with a basic base layer is a recurring theme on the Barbie actress’ sartorial agenda for events recently. Last week she donned the look twice – once looking chic in a structured cream Bottega Venetta number with a similar-hued vest, and the other in a 90s pinstriped oversize blazer with a plain white vest for the ultimate effortless look.
The silver buttons on her latest look adds some interest, and the wool is of course *chefs kiss* for this weather.

The trousers
First making their comeback in 2021, wide-leg trousers have been treasured all year round. Margot's black palazzo pants are perfect for going from the workplace to working the dance floor. The absence of pattern allows the capacious lower leg to do the talking, whilst not feeling too OTT for the office.
ICYMI, Babylon is a period comedy-drama due to be released next month, with a star-studded line up including Brad Pitt and Olivia Wilde. We can't wait to see what else is on Margot Robbie's closet calendar for the rest of the build-up.
