Right now it’s Sydney Sweeney’s world and we are just living it. A run down of the Euphoria star’s year: she was nominated for not one, but two Emmys (and celebrated her 25th birthday at the event); became synonymous with Miu Miu after becoming the star of its ‘Wander’ campaign; cemented her sartorial versatility on the red carpet, nailing agendas from her Princess Diaries moment to bionic babe at the British GQ awards; and announced her role as Barbarella which was first played by Jane Fonda in the eponymous sci-fi movie. If that wasn’t enough, she’s now the new face of Tory Burch’s 2022 holiday campaign ‘Holiday Talk’. And it’s so uplifting.
The campaign involves Sydney sharing her top tips on how to get through the holiday season stress free – which we’re sure by now you’re desperate to hear. Disclaimer: as wonderful as this advice is, be aware that it’s ironic, entertaining and not wholly serious – although who could argue that a Tory Burch bag isn’t a plausible emotional support device?

She starts off by suggesting that we embrace our inner child. She says: “Christmas is all about being festive, getting into the holiday spirit, connecting with your inner child, and really focusing on the things that bring you most joy — presents, love, and luck.”
Apparently, her Tory Burch Good Luck Trainer and a new vintage-inspired Tory Sport tennis set helps channel said inner-child. In the humorous campaign video, Sydney is aptly wearing this attire whilst bouncing on a bed.

The White Lotus star then suggests we plan ahead. “During the holidays, it’s important to plan ahead. You’ll need everything around you to create a safe space, and with all of the family and friends we’re about to see, we’re going to need it.”

In the humorous campaign video, Sydney is scouring her handbag closet (all Tory Burch bags, obvs), and picks out her favourite to which she says: “Ok Mini Kira, you’re my emotional support when we have to eat Aunt Jolene’s dry-ass stuffing.” She then breaks the awful news to her velvet Kira, that she is ‘Natalie’s’ Christmas present this year.
Her third and final (and in our opinion, best) tip is to prioritise self-care. Giving ultimate Marilyn Monroe vibes, bathing in bubbles and engulfed in layers of gold jewellery, she says: “Organize your thoughts, clear your energy, connect with your chakras, and take care of yourself.” She also recommends Roxanne Jewellery
This advice is certain to bring us euphoria.
