Diamond accessories were on point

The 32nd annual Gotham Independent Film Awards ceremony brought serious scintillating glamour to the red carpet. The event that unofficially kicks off the series of awards ceremonies leading to the Oscars in March, did so with an incredibly glamorous sartorial agenda.

Jennifer Lawrence, who’s list of accolades has soared since she won a Gotham Award back in 2010 for Best Ensemble Performance in Winter’s Bone, presented the award for Best Feature. She served old Hollywood glamour wearing a stunning Dior gown, complete with spaghetti straps, a scooped neckline and an a-line silhouette. She paired the dress with black stilettos and a striking diamond choker, finished off with a red lip. It’s no surprise she was sporting a Dior number, as she’s a longtime ambassador of the brand.

Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever star and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o looked elegant as ever on the red carpet in a black plunge gown with a cinched waist, accompanied by Prada stilettos. It’s a wonder she wasn’t cold with the amount of ice around her neck. An incredible diamond choker with one yellow diamond in the middle glistened, accompanied by another draping diamond necklace that accentuated the gorgeous low-cut neckline. (Brrr.) A final diamond touch was some dangling earrings and a plain black clutch. Mega glam.

Just days after debuting her new blonde tresses, White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza dazzled in a nude coloured embellished two piece. The high-split midi skirt showed off her gold strappy heels that wrapped up around her calf. What would this event be without a dash of diamonds? She sported her shoulder length locks wavy, accompanied by some chunky yellow-diamond studs. The look was finished with bright red toes and nails. She was nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance for her performance in Emily the Criminal.
