New research reveals that Hailey Bieber is the world's most popular celebrity makeup inspiration for 2022, with searches for her makeup looks increasing by 421% compared to last year.
The model and influencer topped the list of celebrities for makeup inspiration, which is unsurprising as she has been responsible for several makeup and beauty trends this year, from glazed donut skin and the donut nails, to her controversial brownie glazed lips. Videos with the hashtag 'Hailey Bieber makeup' received a whopping 167 million views on TikTok, and Google searches for her beauty looks were up 421% compared to 2021.

Hailey's most recent Met Gala appearance sparked the Donut Glazed beauty trend
The analysis, conducted by SpaSeekers, used a combination of Google search increase and TikTok data to reveal which celebrity’s makeup look is the most popular in the world for 2022.
Following Hailey in second position is fellow model Bella Hadid, whose makeup looks often consist of siren eyes and 90s-inspired thin brows. Views for 'Bella Hadid makeup' on TikTok are currently at almost 61 million, and searches for Hadid's makeup routine are up 52% on last year.
With her fresh beauty look, Swedish influencer Matilda Djerf rounds off the top three, with searches for Matilda's makeup routine up 133% in 2022, and TikTok views for the Swedish influencer's beauty looks hitting 6.5 million this year, too. One of Matilda's signature looks is a strong pink blush across the cheek and nose, and she’s also become renowned for her Farrah Fawcett-esque mane.

Hailey is also the founder of her own skincare range, Rhode
French-American actress and Chanel ambassador, Lily Rose Depp, is the youngest celebrity to make the list. At just 23 years old, she has over 691,000 views of her makeup looks on TikTok and a 175% increase in searches this year. Her beauty aesthetic is teaming with French influences including natural fluffy brows, smoky brown eyes with heavy eyeliner and nude lips.
Surprisingly, only one Kardashian features in the top ten most popular celebrity makeup looks for 2022. Khloe Kardashian came in at 8th place, according to the data. Searches for her full glam looks have increased by 90% this year, and the hashtag 'Khloe Kardashian makeup' has 1.5 million views. This year she's regularly been seen with full bronzed skin, sculpted cheekbones, full lashes and her signature beauty spot.
Lizzo placed as the 10th most popular celebrity for makeup inspiration in 2022, with a 129% increase in searches for her beauty looks. In 2022 the singer has been on her world tour, which has featured some incredible makeup artistry including colour pops of green, blue and pink eyeshadow and striking glitter lips.
Other celebrities whose makeup routines beauty lovers searched for throughout this year included Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Blake Lively.
