Zoe Saldaña’s sartorial agenda whilst promoting Avatar: The Way of Water has been a thing of beauty. We’ve noticed that the acting goddess’ variation of styles and silhouettes has flourished over this particular promotional period and she is rocking it.
The 44-year-old is currently across the pond here in London, and she most definitely brought her newly found fashion versatility with her. Also, whilst in the capital, what’s more fitting than sporting one of our homegrown design heroes on the red carpet?

Last night at the Avatar: The Way of Water photocall at The Corinthia, Saldaña was an image of sheer elegance wearing a stunning frilled transparent dress from none other than Victoria Beckham’s SS23 collection.
She posed on the red carpet amongst her co-stars including Kate Winslet and film director James Cameron. The daring all-black ensemble contained gorgeous frill detailing at the top which Saldana paired with a lace black bralet underneath. The lower half sported a peplum style mini-skirt with the chiffon material extending to create a midi dress. Continuing with the full VB look, tights that matched the bralet were layered underneath and finished off with some elegant ultra high heels from Tamara Mellon, the eponymous brand of the erstwhile co-founder of Jimmy Choo.

Letting the frills, see-through chiffon and patterned hosiery do the talking, jewellery was eschewed in favour of three dainty ring bands, by yet another British brand – Jessie Thomas. Her hair was left loosely waved with a middle parting.
Victoria Beckham herself proudly posted a photograph of Saldaña at the event with the caption “#VBMuse @zoesaldana wearing #VBSS23, styled by @Petra Flannery.”
