The Fashion Awards 2022 have arrived which can only mean only one thing, glamorous gowns. And in the case of Lila Moss, she certainly got the memo.
The Model of The Year nominee hit the red carpet in a custom silk georgette backless gown by KNWLS to attend the prestigious awards ceremony held in London at the Royal Albert Hall. She is being recognised alongside Bella Hadid and Adut Akech as one of the models “who over the last 12 months has dominated the industry, with an influence that transcends the catwalk.”

Lila Moss wore a sheer dress from KNWLS
Her sheer KNWLS dress is totally of the moment. Sheer looks were plentiful on the AW22 runways. Bras were visible through shimmery sequin dresses at Matthieu Blazy’s first collection for Bottega Veneta. Prada made granny pants sultry, allowing them to peek through mesh dresses. Likewise Miu Miu, Huishan Zhang and Fendi all got in on the visible lingerie action.
Lila also earned her fashion stripes by flying the flag for British design. KNWLS is a South London based brand which was launched in 2017 by Charlotte Knowles and her partner Alexandre Arsenault, shortly after they graduated from Central Saint Martins. The brand strives to embody a “disruptive vision of femininity, dangerous yet sensual.” Their combined interests inform a unified perspective on an empowered wardrobe for a new digital zeitgeist. Best known for their experimental body-con designs that accentuate the silhouette in unexpected ways, abrasive textures and print, KNWLS proposes an alternative approach to sensuality.

Lila's gown proved she is every inch the budding fashion icon
Lila’s look was reminiscent of her supermodel mother who made sure all eyes were on her in a plunging sheer cowl neck gown she wore back in November to attend Diet Coke's 40th Birthday celebrations at Annabel’s nightclub in Mayfair. Kate's dress was adorned with a shimmering embellished aztec pattern, set atop sheer black gauzy material. Underneath she wore a black pair of briefs which only highlighted the transparency of the dress, just like Lila.
