The host of an event usually always likes to stand out from the rest of the guests – be that a birthday, a baby shower or literally any other occasion where all eyes will be on them at least one time during the event, and therefore feels like they need to make an extra effort.
Well, as this year’s host of the Fashion Awards 2022, Jodie Turner-Smith has done just that. She gave ethereal goddess meets Tinkerbell in a stunning custom green gown from Gucci.

The host rocked the neon lime ensemble, which sported fringed chiffon from head to toe. The extravagant yet whimsical pleated floor-length arms made the 36-year-old actress look completely ethereal, with this only enhanced by the gown’s fringed train with a frilled hemline that went from the cuff of the arm right down to the end of the train.
The dress’ base layer sported an ultra plunge chest area, adding a daring touch to the dreamlike dress. The emerald choker-like neckline upped the glam and meant no neck jewellery was necessary – the dress had got it covered.
Adding to the glamorous look, Turner-Smith paired the dress with some dangly earrings and chunky gold open toe heels. The colour of the dress suited her super short blonde hair down to a T.

Maximalism and neon colours were on the cards throughout the night, as Jodie then changed into an incredible cobalt blue embellished ensemble, complete with a blue cape and the ultimate excessive headpiece. American supermodel Kristen McMenamy also went for the ‘more is more’ look – with a show stopping feathered fuschia look, complete with pieces of pink material styled around the eyes.
