When it comes to standing out in a crowd, no one does it quite like Rita Ora.
The I Will Never Let You Down singer, attended the Fashion Awards 2022 donning not one but two jaw-dropping fashion statements for the event.

Rita sported unusual gills which framed her brows and cheekbones
First off the 32-year-old stole the show wearing a show stopping sheer dress from designer Nensi Dojaka. The London-based Albanian brand is the name on everyone's lips at the moment as it has been nominated for a BFC Foundation Award at tonight's prestigious event. The accolade "recognises an emerging designer from those receiving support from the BFC Foundation in this year who over the last 12 months has had a major creative impact on global fashion."
Rita Ora superfans will notice that the hitmaker was not only flying the flag for an emerging designer, but also honouring her Albanian heritage by wearing Nensi's wares. The dress itself was a Nensi signature, the pink chiffon dress was offset with red lingerie inspired bustier and matching briefs which were visible through the translucent fabric. The designer was responsible for one of the most memorable moments of London Fashion Week recently, when supermodel Emily Ratajkowski closed the show for the brand. Impressive considering Nensi only graduated from Central Saint Martins a couple of years ago.

Rita who recently got hitched to Thor director, comedian and actor Taika Waititi didn't stop there of course. For makeup, she went for an unexpected approach. The Mermaidcore craze that’s been going viral on TikTok was elevated to new heights, with Rita opting for face framing gills (yes, gills.) The prosthetics which darted around her brows and cheekbones were paired with minimal makeup which let her dress (and her gills) do all the talking. It's giving modern mermaid and we’re frankly here for it.
