It's one of the most important events on the global calendar, and for the Swedish royal family.

This weekend has been awash with tiaras and glamorous gowns, in honour of the Nobel Prize celebrations taking place in Stockholm and of course when it comes to dressing up for an event the Swedes rise to the occasion every time.

For the 2022 Nobel Laureates Dinner Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland wore a stunning ombré effect orange gown which eagle eyed royal watchers identified as being from Estonian brand Maison Lilli Jahilo. Since launching in 2010 the Lilli Jahilo fashion brand has developed a distinctively feminine yet modern language of clothing and received critical acclaim both abroad and domestically.

"Every single garment carrying the Lilli Jahilo label is exclusively handmade at the brand headquarters," the label explains on it’s website, "As a Chanel-trained designer, Lilli maintains the highest levels of craftsmanship at all levels — including design, fabric selection and the best tailors employed in-house." Lilli Jahilo has been awarded with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Swedish Business Awards and was the Estonian Academy of Arts Best Young Fashion Designer.

Sofia paired the dress with a Bottega Veneta knot Intrecciato cream leather clutch, her signature Charlotte Olympia Debbie Patent Leather Pumps and Belgium jeweller's Bigli Jewels Infinity Earrings as well as a tennis bracelet from Swedish Diamond atelier LWL Jewelry. She made the second change to her tiara of the weekend by wearing her Palmette Tiara (which she also wore on her wedding day) with a pearl setting.

Earlier this weekend Sofia dazzled in a sheer blue silk organza gown for the 2022 Nobel Prize banquet (fancy) at Stockholm City Hall. The dress which was a bespoke Ida Lanto dress from the eponymous Stockholm based couturier, featured a hand painted and handmade silk and cotton flower leaves by feather artisan Tim Mårtenson. She paired her look with the Vanite Silver Clutch from Christian Louboutin and LWL Jewelry’s Curve 50mm Earrings in Topaz which coordinated perfectly with her Palmette Tiara in a new Topaz Setting.

Keeping her tiara collection circular? We love a royal sustainable fashion moment.
