We told you last month that Nicola Peltz Beckham’s newly created TikTok wouldn’t stay secret for long. The 27-year-old actress just revealed to her now 9000-ish followers an old beauty hack that she uses to get the perfect lip stain, and it’s so simple.
The blotting paper.
A fan of retro beauty vibes, the Hollywood A-lister has rocked various old-school glam looks like these 90s supermodel styleultra thin brows and this killer 70s transformation.

Her recent video posted on TikTok starts with Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee pushing the blotting sheet against her lips, leaving a perfect cherry red stamp of her unbelievably symmetric lips onto the paper. She then gives us a quick mirror selfie video (where we catch a glimpse of Brooklyn gazing at his wife’s beauty) before Kate finishes by carving the outline of the lips using a matching lip liner.
Her perfect satin pout is the significant component of a gorgeous romantic makeup look. Super soft pink blush, doe-eyed winged liner and wispy eyelashes create a sculpted soft matte finish. This look comprises a less harsh liner look than her previous siren liner eyes displayed at the Welcome to Chippendale’s premiere.
Reportedly, blotting paper was one of the very few things both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle ensured were in their handbags for their royal weddings, so why are we not using them too?

Beauty platform getthegloss says “Author Marcia Moody stated in her biography of the Duchess of Cambridge (tellingly titled Kate: A Biography ) that Kate only carries four items in her usually neat and petite clutch bag when she’s taking part in royal engagements - a lip balm, a mirror compact, a hankie and blotting papers.” They also explain that Meghan only took blotting papers and her lip colour to her wedding reception.
These little squares of paper are inexpensive, simple to use and the perfect way to keep your skin from looking oily.
A new handbag essential for this party season.
