If you were heading to a christmas party hosted by Victoria Beckham for her eponymous iconic fashion brand on a frosty Tuesday night in London, think about what your pre-party prep would entail.
Treat yourself to a wash and blowdry? Top up the shellac that has inconveniently chipped before the party? Or, would you be a Mia Regan and go shopping for jumpers from an Icelandic environmentally friendly clothing brand?

Mia's jumper from the Dyngja range is mega
Yes, she did this. Before heading to her potential mother-in-law’s #HolidayatVB party at her store on Dover Street last night, Mimi Moocher posted a photo to her Instagram story posing in a jazzy oversized blue hued jumper from climate-conscious cold weather brand 66north. She captioned the snap “@66north ready for anything now”
Though Mia wore baggy ski trousers in the fitting rooms, this would most certainly elevate your Saturday morning coffee-date look during the cold season if paired with straight leg jeans (perhaps some from the Mia Regan x VB collection) and some chunky black boots.
The funky jumper is reminiscent of a classic tie dye number (unsurprising considering Mia is a retro-wear muse), and 66north say: “The styles pay tribute to the extremities of the Icelandic weather through an all-over-print of Benjamin Hardman's [an Icelandic based photographer] landscapes, which fall differently on each garment, making every piece unique.”

The brand, stocked by high-end platforms like Matchesfashion and End clothing, has just opened its first ever UK store on Regent Street.
Sadly, Mia’s jumper from the Dyngja range is sold out however “the capsule collection is comprised of a sweater, cropped sweater, beanie, balaclava, and a scarf.” Get shopping
What is 66north?
Founded in 1926 in Iceland, the brand prides itself on its carbon neutral, B Corp status. The collection which includes Mia’s jumper “is washed in Ístex's washing facilities in Blönduós. The thread is then spun in Ístex's production facility in Mosfellsbær, and finally weaved in Varma's factories in Reykjavik. This means the carbon footprint of this collection is exceptionally low.”
If you hadn’t heard of 66north before, you certainly will soon, as Bottega Veneta’s former head of menswear Kei Toyoshima took over as its creative director last month.
Thank you Mimi for putting captivating, planet-conscious brands on our sartorial maps.
