Unsurprisingly, Margot Robbie has just added another effortlessly chic ensemble to her sartorial accolades.
The 32-year-old actress headed to the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Los Angeles yesterday to promote her latest film Babylon, and her sophisticated ensemble was pretty foolproof. She proved why we all need a longline leather coat in our winter wardrobes.

Margot paired her leather coat with Aquazurra heels
As Margot was wearing a midi dress underneath, our eyes could only focus on her gorgeous outerwear, with only the dress's floaty hem peeking out from below the coat’s cutoff. She paired the mystery dress with black barely there heels from Aquazurra that posed a dash of sparkle for the holiday season, and a pair of rectangular sunglasses (also a favourite of Hailey Bieber) to add some cool-girl vibes to the look.
The coat itself had structured shouldering with chunky lapels, and the tie waist belt gave it a flattering silhouette.
Of course, leather jackets in all forms have been at the top of our sartorial agenda this year. From blazers to bombers, this 90s-esque trend is back in all its glory, and it’s not going anywhere yet. Brands like Prada showcased a plethora of leather coat styles and silhouettes in their SS22 and Fall 2022 collections, whilst Coach brought leather jacket dresses to their SS23 show.
Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Instagram, we were able to get a glimpse of the Barbie star’s all black ensemble in full view. The ultra elegant black dress boasted a mega high thigh split with a plunge neckline that was the epitome of daring (it basically split down to her belly button) but the neckline was made demure with criss-cross lacing tied across. Jewellery was eschewed, and she wore her luscious bronde locks wavy, finished with a Harley Quinn-esque red lip. Mega elegance.

We learnt alot about Margot during her chat with Jimmy, including that she’s slept with her toy bunny, aptly called ‘Bunny’ for her whole life. She also said “When I say I love christmas, it's more like I’m a christmas tyrant.” She told her girlfriends at their annual christmas get together “This year we're all gonna dress up like they do in Mean Girls and learn the Mean Girls dance.”
