In a photo shared on the official Danish royal Instagram account, the family is sat on a ledge in front of a scenic backdrop. The casual family photo (translated from Danish into English) was captioned, "Merry Christmas from "Down Under" - where we celebrate Christmas in Tasmania. Here there are neither freezing temperatures nor just trees, but summer and warm weather."
Eagle-eyed royal watchers and fashion fans have identified the dress, which Mary has actually worn before as being from Australian luxury brand Zimmerman. The Kaleidoscope midi dress is part of the brand's AW22 Stargazer collection. Its design is crafted from silk linen organza with a floral print and features beaded trim and a self-covered belt. Typically we see Princess Mary sporting Danish designers, in her role as future Monarch of the Scandinavian kingdom, but clearly she hasn't forgotten about the esteemed designers of her homeland.

Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their namesake label back in 1991. They quickly won a loyal following in Sydney, with Nicky focusing on designing dresses and selling them at Paddington markets. "While working the markets, I had two pages of editorial in Australian Vogue," Nicky explained in an statement, "That was a significant moment because I suddenly started to receive orders from boutiques around Australia and I could feel some real momentum. Soon after I opened a small store in Darlinghurst."
Nicky’s sister Simone soon joined the growing Zimmermann business. Nicky’s cites her relationship with Simone as the key to Zimmermann’s longevity and success. “I could never have achieved what we have without Simone,"Nicky says, "While the business has evolved and fashion has changed, Simone has been a voice of reason and a constant."
