Alongside nailing looks from the most coveted designers of the fashion sphere, Lady Amelia Windsor never strays too far from her eco-conscious sartorial agenda by championing small, planet-friendly brands.

This winter, the socialite has schooled us on sustainable cold-weather looks. Last month she sported London-based brand Yuhan Wang at the Mon Cheri Hosts Barbara Tag at Haus der Kunst in Munich. Though she has a tendency not to follow trends, she paired the dress with the coolest Miu Miu loafers, cementing her It-girl status.

She also sported a high neck LBD from Annie Officiel in November, a brand whose key principle is “buy less and buy better.”

Now, as 2022 draws to a close, the University of Edinburgh graduate has reposted an Instagram story wearing a chic all-black co-ord from small British brand Forty One. Our social media feeds this week are flooded with, socialites, celebrities and fashion labels alike reminiscing on their sartorial triumphs of the year. And small British label Forty One proudly sported an image of Amelia as their cover girl wearing one of their cool, minimalistic co-ord’s.

The brand that currently has 2000 Instagram followers says: “41 Forty One was born out of lockdown 2020. Starting with face masks for charities and developing into a womenswear clothing brand. The main objective is to help make all our customers feel beautiful and confident while considering our planet's safety.”

Amelia paired the Bonnie wrap midi skirt with the Saskia Button back top when sporting the handmade-to-order brand.

Sartorial sustainability and affordability don’t often go hand in hand (unless shopping secondhand), but Lady Amelia’s top and skirt co-ord comes in at an incredible £95. If trousers are preferred over a skirt, they can also be mixed and matched for the similar price point.
