Monochromatic and moody, the glam-goth trend has taken the fashion world by storm – and we are 100% here for it. Boasting poster girls such as Dove Cameron and Wednesday Addams, now modern style icon Kylie Jenner is the latest celeb to prove her worth in the glam-goth sphere.

Pretty much since spooky season, the 25-year-old has been working overtime to hop on the trend and make glam-goth her own, and by Jove, she has put in a good shift. From sultry vintage Mugler gowns to grungy asymmetric Marc Le Bihan tops, the Kylie Cosmetics founder has been taking great pains to honour the colour of the season: black.
Having rocked many a monochrome moment this season, Kylie refused to let up during the Twixmas period, stepping out in the cosiest ensemble as she headed out in the ski resort town of Aspen.
Earlier this month when Kylie visited the iconic Colorado holiday location (and who could blame her, a pre-Christmas break and a post-Xmas getaway both feel utterly necessary this year), she was all about the utilitarian vibe. The beauty mogul was rocking padded snow boots by Loewe and leather trousers by The Attico whereas this time her trip demanded an elevated level of glamour.

The 25-year-old looked the picture of cosy chic in a weighty black leather coat with a princess silhouette. The highly covetable outerwear, trimmed with ivory shearling at the collar and cuffs, featured a fitted waisted, ultra-wide lapels and a peplum hem – all adding to its timeless feel.
The coat-dress hybrid piece is part of maison Alaïa's archival 'Editions' line and provided the perfect finishing touch to Kylie's knee-high boots, fluffy bucket hat and racer-style shades.
Scrimping on the warmth in the name of fashion is officially no longer necessary…
