Party dressing and Emily Ratajkowski go together like a match made in heaven – that much is plain to see. 2022 has blessed us with more than a few major ultra-glam EmRata looks – think Tory Burch naked maxis, vintage Dior newspaper slips, and the like.

But the supermodel has by no means allowed her impeccable sartorial standards to slip since we entered the new year, no sir. In fact, we reckon 2023 is set to be her best yet. The 31-year-old entered January with a bang, raising the party dressing stakes to new, achingly covetable, heights.

In a post shared on Instagram with her 29.7m followers, EmRata spoiled fans with a pictorial insight into her NYE outfit, and rest assured, she did not disappoint.

Emily looked utterly dazzling, sporting the most striking chainmail mini dress by London-based label Clio Peppiatt, its 'Verbena' design. The supermodel's showstopping piece, adorned with stunning crystal embellishments, glided over her frame and had an almost barely-there feel on account of its clinging silhouette.

EmRata was serving Y2K It-girl in her shimmery slip mini dress which featured a cross-over strap (again, crystal-encrusted, obvs) backless design and a super playful wrap skirt element with a chain belt closure.

The eponymously named label, which was launched back in 2015, is adored among fashion insiders, known best for its heavily embellished mini dresses that have been referenced on a cosmic level this party season by lower-priced high street labels.

The brand’s founder Clio Peppiatt first fell in love with artisanal craftsmanship after she was taught to embroider by her grandmother. "The desire to reinvent these traditional skills lies at the heart of Clio Peppiatt’s vision," the label writes. "Focusing on hand-beading and hand-embroidery, stemming from the designer's original drawings, Clio Peppiatt empowers a new generation of women whilst partnering with the communities that rely on these skills."

Emily paired her statement piece with square toe strappy sandals, sweepy curtain bangs and the night's accessory must-have: an espresso martini.

Suffice to say, we know which supermodel are going to be channelling at our next major occasion….
