When it comes to winter boots, this January we are all about straying from convention and branching out. Press pause on the chunky Chelsea boots, and the Victoriana-inspired lace-ups, for this season we are following Kendall Jenner's lead, and the vibe is 'fur overload, or else'.

The 27-year-old is utterly devoted to the Western-inspired Cowgirlcore aesthetic – that much we know for sure. The equine obsessive and self-proclaimed "horse girl" has loved the animals from a super young age, and the theme has even extended into her clothing choices.
August saw Kendall rocking white tank top emblazoned with the slogan 'J'ADORE COWBOYS' at the rodeo, and she actually unveiled a permanent addition that perfectly illustrated her dedication to the trend – a tiny line drawing tattoo of a Western-style boot. Yep, you read that right.
As it happens, Kendall's love for Cowgirlcore knows no bounds, which she proved yesterday as she elevated the trend for 2023.

While holidaying with her family in snowy Aspen the supermodel showed off her latest footwear acquisition – a pair of boots that made us do a double take.
Kendall stepped out in white pointed-toe cowboy boots that were covered in plush taupe fur. She teamed her statement boots with a brown heavy-duty maxi coat which featured broad lapels and a cosy shearling trim, faded jeans and a long-sleeved white top.
The 818 Tequila founder topped things off with rectangular sunglasses and a suede fringe shoulder bag with a braided trim and gold clasp.
In one fell swoop Kendall successfully amped up her simple staples (quality jeans and a tight-fit neutral top can be found in literally everyone's wardrobe) with richly textured accessories – and we are 100% here for her 1970s glamazon moment.
In a post shared on her Instagram with her 268m followers, the supermodel showed off another major look while riding on horseback in glossy straight-leg trousers, shiny boots (Cowboy style, obvs) and an oversized crop jacket.
Time to embrace our inner horse girl?
