In a series of photos shared with her 27.7 million Instagram followers The 33-year old actress showed off her rather festive jumper which proves that a classic Christmas knit can continue to work its magic in January. The daughter of music legend Phil Collins donned cult brand Dôen’s ‘Brynn Sweater.’ Crafted from a recycled cashmere-wool blend and sporting a Fair Isle-inspired design, the Brynn Sweater is “a classic pullover crewneck destined to become a cold-weather staple,” Dôen explain, “Crochet trim frames the high neck, cuffs, and hem, while subtle shirring at the shoulders lends a hint of volume to the full-length sleeves.” The style is a touch more colourful than we’ve seen Lily wearing in the past, so perhaps the avant garde wardrobe of her famous character (styled to aplomb by Sex And The City’s Patricia Field) has rubbed off on her.
Founded in 2016 by Santa Barbara-born sisters, Margaret and Katherine Kleveland, Dôen is a women-run business offering collections inspired by “a nostalgia for the coastal California of decades past,” the brand explains on its website. The collections themselves are a “celebration of womanhood, designed with a keen reverence for the landscapes of their youth - grazing oak groves and orchards and looking out on serene, soft hues of the oceans. Meticulously crafted to pass on for generations, the garments evoke a timeless whimsy and an unapologetic femininity.”
