Once we’ve observed our favourite celebutante’s wardrobe agendas for the holiday season, there’s a slight lull over Twixmas until the New Year celebrations begin. And it seems that the only place fit for fashion’s cream of society to spend the NYE period, is in an enviable tropical setting, far away from the cold.

We’ve loved seeing celebs’ attire for the 2022-into-2023 holiday season. We want everything in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s suitcase, whilst Nicola Peltz has the ultimate Y2K beach party looks, and Emily Ratajkowski’s bikini collection has basically made us reevaluate our whole lives.
But there hasn’t been a ‘I need these immediately’ shoe moment… until right now. Bella Hadid strikes again, sharing images from her sunshine getaway wearing the ultimate 2023 shoe, and we’re obsessed.
Bella clearly felt her shoes deserved their own grid picture
Her avant garde mules from Alaia are a twist on the classic summer shoe, and will seriously elevate an outfit (as proven by Bella). The cut out heel and two-tone colourway make for an interesting design, not to mention the sculpted wedge is a complete work of art.

Luckily for us, wedges are a style that will dominate the shoe sphere this year. As Hello! Fashion’s Orin Carlin pointed out in our shoe trends for SS23 round up, “Fendi, Bottega Veneta and Proenza Schouler are all in agreement – thick, heavy-duty wedges are on the SS23 agenda. We're 100% into it (and not just for the sake of ankle support).”
Bella posed on her Instagram wearing a halter neck burgundy top with a flowy silhouette and an ultra plunge neckline. She paired it with a staple pair of straight leg light-wash jeans and so many gold bangles there’s a prize for whoever guesses the correct amount. She wore her recently blonde locks loose and naturally wavy, and of course those wedges to add a touch of chic.
