Alongside her infectious personality and down-to-earth character, we love Maya Jama because she’s the ultimate ‘get a girl who can do both’ kind of person. She can go from nailing a double denim Balenciaga ensemble, to cargo pants, to the elegant flouncy Zimmerman dress she wore at last year’s Royal Ascot in almost an instant. And she does so with the utmost confidence.

The 28-year-old celebrated New Year’s Eve at KOKO London looking like a literal diamond, wearing an opulent rhinestone ensemble crafted by her stylist @violettafanciesyou. Maya donned a diamante Dolce and Gabbana bralet with a plunge neckline, paired with an equally as showstopping D&G embellished mini skirt. The look was brought together with a hand-made Mongolian boa from independent brand Rife and Stride, to add some sultry-sophistication to the dazzling look.
Maya’s long, dark (and enviably shiny) locks were loosely curled, elegantly framing her famous features.

The Bristol-born babe is recognised for hosting tv shows, being a former Radio 1 DJ and of course, dating Stormzy. But the next challenge of her ascending career might just be her most momentous yet… the newest host of ITV2’s Love Island.
We can’t wait to see what’s on her sartorial schedule to host. She’s off to a strong start by wearing a vintage jumpsuit from A-list adored brand Annie’s Ibiza in the reality show’s TV advert. A brand she also wore to celebrate her 28th birthday last year.

READ: eBay confirms that the 2023 season of Love Island will feature pre-loved clothes
Love Island is partnering with eBay for its second season in a row. It took a huge leap into the sustainable fashion world last year by working with the secondhand platform, and the collaboration was so successful they’ve renewed it for the upcoming series. Last year ITV said: “We’re excited to be partnering with Love Island this year, as the show’s first pre-loved fashion partner and to flip the conversation around fashion. As one of the original homes of pre-loved, we believe that by joining forces with this incredibly influential programme, we’ll inspire the nation to think differently and make more conscious choices when it comes to their wardrobes.”
Love Island is back on Monday 16th January at 9pm on ITV2.
