So far Anna Kendrick is having the most exciting fashion show of 2023 and the streets of New York are her catwalk.
The Twilight star first wore a colourful two piece co-ord which would make any Carrie Bradshaw (or Fran Fine from The Nanny for that matter) wardrobe devotee gasp. The bold skirt set, which hails from Moschino's Resort 2023 collection was dopamine dressing personified. Clad in a cropped jacket and high-waisted mini skirt with retro 60s print, she teamed the ensemble with an Alexis Bittar bag and eye-watteringly high black platforms.

Later on that day she rocked another skirt set, clearly a winning combo for the actress. She arrived at CBS Studios to talk about her new film (more on that later) in an elegant tartan print ensemble from Le Superbe. The Los Angeles based brand was founded by stylist Jeannine Braden. She paired the look with suede heels and a beige turtleneck as well as a chic navy Goyard bag.
The 37-year-old has been busy promoting her latest project Alice, Darling. The film tells the story of a woman name Alice (played by Anna Kendrick) who is in a psychologically abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Simon (played by Charlie Carrick). After taking a vacation with friends, she attempts to break her codependency.

It’s a case of art imitating life, after she recently revealed she had previously battled with a toxic relationship in the past. Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, she told hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman that the man, who has not been identified would “scream” at her until she was “curled in a ball, sobbing.” She also bravely told them that she had even frozen embryos with the abusive partner saying, “I was with someone — this was somebody I lived with, for all intents and purposes my husband. We had embryos together, this was my person.”
