There is no time like the present to put on a united front, that's for sure. Since Prince Harry's explosive memoir hit the shelves in the UK on Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales have made their return to their regular royal duties.
And in doing so, they publicly affirmed the strength of their union via matching ensembles.
The royal couple stepped out on Thursday in Liverpool for their first joint appearance of 2023. The pair, both clad in similar colour palettes, were welcomed by lively crowds and went on to tour the Royal Liverpool University hospital.
The pair made a "coordinated" return to their royal duties
Rich, inky navy and deep forest green shades were on the agenda for both Prince William and Princess Kate. William looked smart in a pale blue shirt layered under a green round-neck jumper with navy straight-leg trousers, topping off his look with a matching blazer.
Kate kept things elegant in a high-necked ribbed midi dress with a glossy belt to cinch in her waist.

Princess Kate turned to Samantha Cameron's clothing label for her midi dress
The 41-year-old maintained her exceptional outerwear game via her trusty dark double-breasted check pattern coat, finishing off her look with Gianvito Rossi suede courts, her much-adored Amberley handbag by Mulberry, and a pair of delicate drop-down earrings.
The pair visited a ward to see the hospital's new facilities and interacted with staff, who have been hard at work during the busy winter period, to thank them for their service.
In a sweet video shared on Twitter by North West News, a hospital staff member playfully pointed out the couple's "matching" looks, to which Prince William replied: "Coordinated, exactly!"

Princess Kate, who frequently re-wears some of her wardrobe's most versatile pieces, is all about the investment dressing. She looked refined in her dress designed by Samantha Cameron's clothing label Cefinn, having previously worn the brand's same 'Eva' design last September. The piece, which retails at £290, features voluminous sleeves and a sweeping skater silhouette.

Even her coat was a repeat – British heritage label Holland Cooper's 'Blackwatch' style – which is currently priced at £749.
A stellar coordinated couple moment if ever we saw one…
