The latest crop of glamorous singles has finally entered the villa, great news for Love Island obsessives, but there was one person who actually managed to eclipse the show's return with her killer outfit. Maya Jama, we bow down.
The presenter made her Love Island debut on Monday night, a role that fans have been campaigning for her to fill for what feels like forever.
Always one to make an entrance, the 28-year-old came through with the most unreal cut-out dress that sent the internet into overload.
Styled by Rhea Francois, the Glow Up star graced our screens in a striking maxi by Eli Mizrahi's label Mônot. The torso of her halter neck gown featured extreme symmetrical cut-outs, extending down into a daring thigh-split.
Great minds think alike, and Maya was in seriously excellent company – Hollywood bombshell Kate Hudson wore the same Mônot piece back in 2021 when she arrived at the Venice Film Festival.

The New York-based brand is already a hit among the party set, renowned for its trademark sultry glamour – defined by clean-cut lines, clinging silhouettes and daring cut-outs.
Extreme cut-outs are high up on the agenda next season, with many major designers having focused on the skin-baring style in their SS23 collections. Captured best perhaps by British trailblazer Poster Girl which has been smashing it with its cult-adored stretchy geometric designs, on the other hand the likes of Andreamo, Valentino and A.W.A.K.E have been all about a lower quantity of larger proportioned shapes.
The presenter topped off her look with a pair of gold chunky hoops and her signature uber-glam makeup look, consisting of a rich smoky eye and a brown glossy lip.
Rest assured, there’s more where that came from. In a post shared on Instagram with her 2.5m followers, Maya posed outside her dressing room in an unreal red crochet crop top and mini skirt, both by independent label Crolage, in which she wrote: "It’s nearly time!!! 9pm @loveisland hope I do you all proud."
No fear, Maya. Understatement of the year…
