The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (commonly known as Davos) is currently underway – a 4-day event in the Swiss Alps to discuss this year’s theme of "cooperation in a fragmented world".

Princess Beatrice – who is one of the attendees at the invite-only event, is a sartorial muse when it comes to sustainable fashion.

Hello!’s Georgia Brown explained: “Although Princess Eugenie made sure her wedding was as eco-friendly as possible by banning the use of plastic at her ceremony, her younger sister Beatrice challenged royal tradition and opted to wear one of the Queen's old dresses.

Beatrice wore a vintage Norman Hartnell gown belonging to her grandmother The Queen – making her the first ever royal bride to opt for a second-hand wedding gown.”

Of course it was only right she sported a sustainable outfit for an event designed to address environmental issues. The Princess wore a mega rock-chick blazer from Spanish brand The Extreme Collection, known for its top-notch tailoring and incredible faux fur jackets.

Beatrice wore the “Rock Star” navy denim blazer, elevating the meaning of ‘denim jacket’. The single breasted style gave a slightly relaxed smart silhouette, whilst the gold and black studded lapels, shoulders and cuffs gave the ultimate retro feel.

It seems the 34-year-old took style cues from her mother Sarah Ferguson, who has become an unofficial champion of the brand, sporting their iconic jackets on a regular basis. The Duchess of York wore the exact same blazer as Beatrice but in green on her Instagram recently. She also wore it to the Hello! Inspiration Awards 2021. She's also a fan of The Extreme Collection’s ‘Rita’ jacket, and a plethora of other blazers.

The brand prides itself on using “[..] environmentally friendly materials with a fair and transparent supply chain: none of what we sell is made in secret workshops or outside of Spain, where workers' rights are not respected.”

Beatrice also took a leaf out of her mother’s style book In October 2022, wearing the ultimate military jacket from Me & Em.

The definition of mother-daughter goals.
