Queen Letizia of Spain, is proving herself to be one of the European royals most savvy shoppers.
For her past appearances, this week she has been favouring mid-range and high-street staples, mixed with designer pieces from her enviable wardrobe. And it looks as though she has no signs of giving up on her love of accessible fashion. On January 19 in Madrid, Letizia attended a meeting at the RAE (Royal Spanish Academy) headquarters wearing Pol Studio’s ‘Raglan Cupro’ shirt which comes in at just £70.

The blouse with gathered sleeve and neckline hails from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection. The Spanish monarch styled it to aplomb, wearing it with Hugo Boss’ Leshina Skirt in Black Leather, a Carolina Herrera ‘Victoria’ insignia bag and multicolor pavé earrings from Alexandra Plata. Of course she teamed it with her trusty ‘Mila’ black leather pumps, giving the look a modern yet smarter than casual touch.
Pol Studio was founded by Paula de Andres and is a Madrid-based fashion brand focused on two values, sustainability and design experience. “Our goal is to offer a design proposal where you can be involved in every step on your shirt creation,” the brand explains on its website, “We want to reach people who feel identified with our philosophy, but we also want you to be able to get what you expect… Through this experience you will end up with an exclusive shirt made just for you with natural materials. This way we will not be only improving the standard production chain by avoiding stocks, but also by using the highest quality sustainable fabrics, that will not just be good for the planet, but also for you.”
