When international It-girl Hailey Bieber switches up her beauty look, the world sits up and takes notice. Granted, the supermodel is perhaps best known in beauty circles for her uber dewy complexion – obligatory shoutout to her skincare brand Rhode which is underpinned by her signature juicy aesthetic – but there's more where that came from.
Hailey is also a source of major inspo in the hair department – and her latest cut literally made us do a double take. On Sunday the supermodel unveiled her new 'do, stopping us in our tracks by seemingly throwing it back to her pre-Bieber era. Before she got married to Justin back in 2018, Hailey was a Baldwin and used to sport a light blonde blunt bob.
History is repeating itself, and her fans are here for it. On the original TikTok in which the 26-year-old debuted her new cut, one commented: "IT'S GIVING HAILEY BALDWIN". Another chimed in, praising her fresh length, and wrote: "Short hair is elite".

The supermodel shared that she was channelling Margot Tenenbaum
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories with her 50.2m followers, the supermodel looked stylish in a beige V-neck sweater, a pleated mini skirt, patent loafers and an oversized military maxi coat.
Hailey rocked a mini skirt and patent loafers alongside her new 'do
She drew parallels between her latest look and an iconic film character who rocked a super similar style.
"Margot Tenenbaum for the foreseeable future," Hailey playfully captioned a mirror selfie, referencing Gwyneth Paltrow's celebrated portrayal of the fictional gifted playwright in The Royal Tenenbaums.
Representing the apex of fashion-inspired Halloween costumes, Margot Tenenbaum's distinctive look has been emulated by top designers on several occasions. Her trademark longline fur coat outfit was recreated by Alessandro Michele in Gucci's fall 2015 show, but we honestly can't get enough of the fact that Hailey is now referencing the cinematic icon's beauty look, more than two decades after the picture was first released.
Safe to say, we're into Hailey's blunt bob, but we can't help but wonder what's next for her Margot Tenenbaum style reincarnation. Heavily lined eyes and a single beaded hair clip? Yes please.
