Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez sent fans into meltdown last year after posing together at the Academy Museum Gala, and it made our hearts so full. The latest style icons to give out positive relationship vibes are Miranda Kerr and Katy Perry (former wife and current fiancé of Orlando Bloom) who appeared on the red carpet together last night – emphasising their mutual respect, and completely different sartorial styles.

Despite the mutual respect (and obviously their similar taste in men), their red carpet dress code has always been equally as stylish, but the total opposite to one another.
Katy Perry has always had a more playful wardrobe agenda, from voluminous silhouettes to cartoon-inspired looks, she’s unafraid to embrace her quirky sense of style. At last night’s awards she looked gorgeous in gold, wearing a bralette and matching floor-length ball gown skirt from Zimmerman’s SS23 collection. The puffy skirt gave a nod to the Firework singer’s signature style, and the metallic colour oozed contemporary elegance.

Miranda Kerr, however, has donned a scandi-chic agenda before it became Instagram’s favourite dress code. With a wardrobe along the lines of Angelina Jolie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s, the former Victoria’s Secret angel always stuns in figure-hugging midi dresses, muted-toned ensembles and effortless jeans and blazer combos. To receive her award presented by Katy, she wore a white ruched dress from Alex Perry and Rahaminov Diamonds jewellery. Her hair was loosely curled with a major side parting, giving the ultimate Hollywood-glam vibes.

Hello!’s Beatriz Colon explained how the reunion went down: “People reports that she began her speech by telling attendees: "Some of you might be confused about why I'm introducing Miranda. That doesn't play into the antiquated narrative of ex-wives and new wives."
“She further joked: "And yes, it's true, most of the media would like to see us mud wrestle, including Evan," referring to Miranda's husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, then adding: "But we are here to lead by love because Miranda is love, and as a lot of you know, love comes in many family iterations."
